Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Later, attend a detailed trip briefing where you’ll meet your guide and fellow travellers.

A short scenic flight to Pokhara, with Himalayan views from the window on a clear day. Free afternoon by Phewa Lake — boating, lakeside cafés, or simply settling in before the Mustang leg begins.
Overnight: Pokhara
Head north out of Pokhara along the Kali Gandaki, the deepest river gorge on Earth, through Beni and the hot-springs village of Tatopani, then on to Jomsom as the valley narrows and the landscape turns to high desert. Continue to Muktinath, visiting the temple and the Jwala Mai eternal flame before checking into your lodge for the night.
Overnight: Muktinath
Ride or drive to Kagbeni, the old walled village and gateway to Upper Mustang, with its centuries-old Kag Chode monastery and views up the Kali Gandaki toward the restricted zone beyond. Spend the day exploring Lower Mustang's villages and desert scenery before returning to Jomsom for the night.
Overnight: Jomsom
Retrace the route back down the Kali Gandaki valley through Tatopani and Beni to Pokhara, closing out the Mustang leg.

A full free day to recover from the Mustang leg. Lakeside spa time, a boat ride on Phewa Lake, or simply resting ahead of tomorrow's helicopter flight — your choice.
